It's good to be ONE!

Oh to be one years old! These little ladies within this blog are just loving life! As cute as one year olds are they are my biggest challenge to photograph.  At the end of each session the parents are flustered thinking their child did everything but look at the camera but little do they know when I get home and edit we get a lot of great facial expressions, smiles and silly moments! That is why I love photographing this age because of how adorable they are and it is a BIG milestone in a child's life.  This is when they start walking, talking and getting a ton of personality! By the end of the session not only are the parents and children tired out but yes, so is the photographer!  Who would have thought by all these photos what was really going on behind the scenes to get the shots! Oofta, its worth it! :)

My sisters pregnancy journey!

My HUGE blog is finally here!!! Meet my sister Kaitlyn, her fiance Tim and their new baby girl Peyton! I am in love with this little family, not only because we are related but because they are great people and now amazing parents! I couldn't be more proud! I was fortunate enough to take maternity photos, be there before and after the delivery for lots of visiting and take my sweet nieces newborn photos! Isn't she a cutie?! I do not live in the same area as my sister so I truely value every moment I get to spend with little miss Peyton! I look forward to watching her grow and to see my family grow as well....I look forward to lots of little rugrats running around at family get togethers as time goes on!

Thank you for reading my post,

Auntie Tracy! :)

{Devorak Wedding} 6.23.12

This wedding took place with the beautiful Lake Superior as its backdrop! Their laid back ceremony was in the rose gardens of Duluth under the gazebo.  It was very intimate and personal since there was a total of 7 people there.  The whole group was very relaxed and easy going.  I really enjoyed the 4 hours I was able to spend with this couple walking along the boardwalks stopping as we went to take photos.  There was no time line, the ceremony started when they wanted, dinner started when they wanted....it was a perfect day when the clouds cleared and their ceremony started! Congratulations Dana and Brandon! I hope you have many happy years!
